Watching the game, our defense is getting pushed off the ball on every running down. Our LBs are not getting to the holes and if this continues throughout the half it will not be close.

I agree that St. X does have the overall edge, but it is a matter of the facilities as much as anything else. In two of the four sports X won State in there is a clear edge in facilities. X has a very nice on campus tennis complex and pool, compared to the public park and Mary T. center that Trinity can provide. All things being equal X would not have the dominant programs that are residing on Poplar Level. It does go back to the history of the school, Trinity does not have the land or the funds to build similar facilities on campus. If and when the facility gap is closed I believe that the dominance of those programs will become more cyclical, similar to the football programs and other sports. I am not attepting to take away from the acomplishments, but I think things should be put in perspective. Students will naturally gravitate to the facilities that benifit them the most.
