  1. "Tears in Heaven" - Eric Clapton

Tears in Heaven gets me every time I hear it. The raw emotion is just so... raw.

Not a huge country music fan but Over You by Miranda Lambert, a song about the loss of Blake Shelton's brother, also gets me.

  2. Kass hanging around brings up the entertainment value immensely. I’m personally hoping for a Tony, Spencer, Kass finale, with Spencer winning it all. Wouldn't complain if Tony wins either.

Have to say this has been the most entertaining Survivors in awhile. The huge egos of Tony & Kass have made it fun to watch. Folks like Spencer, Jeffra, Woo, & Trish also added to the entertainment of the season.

  3. This morning I attended my kid’s all school Friday Mass. I try to do this a couple of times per year bc there is nothing more therapeutic to me than listening to hundreds of kids’ voices lifted in song/prayer. Anyway, the responsorial psalm was “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted”. Couldn’t help but think of Wireman, and offer a prayer for him and all the broken-hearted among us. Hope you have a good weekend and keep turning toward the Cross. I absolutely know you will find strength and the truth there.

  4. Trust me when I say...the best revenge is moving on, being successful and happy without that person. I mean that. Hold back on petty revenge. I can honestly say that my ex's that broke my heart are really, really regretful that I'm not around. And one has to witness my successes quite often because he's my kids' father. :D

The quote is something like "They don't miss you when you're gone, they miss you when you move on." It's so hard at first but day by day the healing happens;hang in there, sorry you are going through it.

  5. First off, I would like to say that I have met Coach Murray and think he is a great person and a dedicated coach. Campbell Co. was very lucky to have him!

Unfortunately, this scenario is played out over and over again wherever high school sports are played. It seems that all too often, even in the Northern Ky area, one or more good coaches get forced out with situations similar to this one. What is surprising about this particular situation is the fact that the good people on this board are bringing the truth to light. Too many times this has happened to coaches (which seriously affects their coaching/teaching careers) and no one speaks up. So I for one, am glad to hear the ugly truth come to light!
