Kass hanging around brings up the entertainment value immensely. I’m personally hoping for a Tony, Spencer, Kass finale, with Spencer winning it all. Wouldn't complain if Tony wins either.
Have to say this has been the most entertaining Survivors in awhile. The huge egos of Tony & Kass have made it fun to watch. Folks like Spencer, Jeffra, Woo, & Trish also added to the entertainment of the season.

This is awesome. My 10 year old loves to dunk like Harrell on his kid size goal – then do the arm clenching/mouth open/chest pumping/mouthpiece drooping/emotional face. Never ever gets old!:ylsuper:

This morning I attended my kid’s all school Friday Mass. I try to do this a couple of times per year bc there is nothing more therapeutic to me than listening to hundreds of kids’ voices lifted in song/prayer. Anyway, the responsorial psalm was “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted”. Couldn’t help but think of Wireman, and offer a prayer for him and all the broken-hearted among us. Hope you have a good weekend and keep turning toward the Cross. I absolutely know you will find strength and the truth there.

Trust me when I say...the best revenge is moving on, being successful and happy without that person. I mean that. Hold back on petty revenge. I can honestly say that my ex's that broke my heart are really, really regretful that I'm not around. And one has to witness my successes quite often because he's my kids' father.
The quote is something like "They don't miss you when you're gone, they miss you when you move on." It's so hard at first but day by day the healing happens;hang in there, sorry you are going through it.

Just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. It's a thriller about a married couple with a messed up relationship (to say the least).
Loved it, couldn't put it down for 431 of it's 432 pages. But absolutely hated the ending.

First off, I would like to say that I have met Coach Murray and think he is a great person and a dedicated coach. Campbell Co. was very lucky to have him!
Unfortunately, this scenario is played out over and over again wherever high school sports are played. It seems that all too often, even in the Northern Ky area, one or more good coaches get forced out with situations similar to this one. What is surprising about this particular situation is the fact that the good people on this board are bringing the truth to light. Too many times this has happened to coaches (which seriously affects their coaching/teaching careers) and no one speaks up. So I for one, am glad to hear the ugly truth come to light!

St. Henry was leading by 1 with 2 seconds left before the first technical foul.

Final from Erlanger on Senior night.

Final from Erlanger. St. Henry JV also won 35-30.
-
Final from Ft. Thomas.

Very hard fought game with NCC winning 38-30. It was a 4 point game in the 4th quarter.
-
Crusader fan is correct. The score was 37 to 33 and the basket would have given St. Henry a 39 to 33 lead with a free throw upcoming to possibly extend the lead to 40 to 33 with just over 3 minutes left to play.

Lexington Catholic started 4 juniors...

Ludlow won the girls game.

Panda...Thanks for the pictures. They are appreciated.

This is the correct score. KHSAA site is incorrect.

The previous poster regarding IHM & Beechwood is mistaken. The IHM 7th girls defeated Beechwood by 30+ points (41 to 10 I believe). Also, the 7th and 8th boys games were also won by IHM.

The NDA league schedule shows St. Henry teams from both 7th and 8th grade.
I don’t know much about the 8th grade team but the 7th grade team has been very successful over the past few years. In fact, I believe that they have a number of girls that play on AAU teams.

Heard through the grapevine that a new coach was hired. Anyone know who it is?
-
The final score was NCC 49 St. Henry 35. Score was 34-30 NCC after 3 quarters. The game was much closer than the final score indicates. St. Henry had to foul twice within the last 1:30 to get subs in the game.

Tears in Heaven gets me every time I hear it. The raw emotion is just so... raw.
Not a huge country music fan but Over You by Miranda Lambert, a song about the loss of Blake Shelton's brother, also gets me.
