Look's lik 3a is going to be alot tougher with the new editions.

If Mayfield is 50 percent as good as they were last year they should be #1. From what I can remember no one came close to beating them.
-
Last year was a disapointing season for all of us, believe me, everyone was pretty much dumbfounded that we could go from consecutive regional championship games to what happened last year with basicaly the same players, the adversity with the coaching change at the last minute didn't help matters, but I don't think anybody around the program knows exactly what happend.I don't know of a soul that would trade Coach J with anybody else regardless of the results and I personaly think the administration should be commended for giving him an oppurtunity, and we are a four generation Wildcat family.
-
So do you think the athletic programs are worse than they were 10 years ago or better. This year may look rough on paper but there hasn't been a game played yet.I'll have to disagree. -
He just finished a tough round of chemo and he says he is feeling pretty good.Regardless of your opinions, gotta root for this team, I got interested in them with a good freind and mentor of mine coached there, I hope they get it right in Henry. Has anyone got an update on Coach Johnsons health? Thoughts are with him and the wildcat family. -
It's probably not that hard to campare the records of athletic programs under previous administrations and this one. All I am saying is, I know these guy's want the best in all the sports, and without doing much research I can tell you they have improved at all levels.Hmmmm never heard of administrations with football success on their to do list having trouble finding coaches? -

Henry County has had as much success under this administration as they ever have in the past. They are just not at a point yet that a winning season year in and out is a given, but they will get there, they also lost alot of talent from last year and most highschool coaches don't want to be put in that situation, they more often leave for greener pasture win they see potential for a rough season or two.
-
Thats a great statement and very true, the team that won our district last year is a good example.Exactly, that is why I am so passionate about the sport. There is a spot for everyone to help, and a team of average players can beat a team with a superstar every Friday. If you can't learn about life from football, you can learn about life. -
They were pretty good, I can't remember his name, but their QB was drafted in the later rounds by Tampa Bay.
-
I think Conner Johnson will be a go to guy, and there are a few others that have shown some savy.
-
They would have to have a perfect season, but supposedly it is possible.
-
It's not the division its the conference that does not give athletic scholarships.

A blindsided quarterback is proof of the difficulty of the linemans job not the qb. Just watch who they yell at when they get up.

I can see no negatives for CAL in this situation.

Thanks guy's, he had a little struggle with a hamstring early this season and drew a lot more attention from the O lines after his junior year, but we think he has a lot of potential.
-
He has been an all District performer since his second season as an O and D lineman and as a kicker his junior year. He won the defensive player of the game for the Greater Louisville team in the Best of the Bluegrass all-star game this year. He is looking foward to playing on one side of the ball and being able to focus on his defensive game exclusivley.

Dylan signed with campbellsville. We are very happy and very proud. He is joining a very good team with a great staff and a very good incoming class.

The more money your parents make the less athletic scholarship money you recieve in NAIA.

Congrats to Chad, my son played against him in an all-star game this year and I thought he was a very good player, very poised adn confident.

I really don't know alot about it, I'm somewhat out of the loop anymore, but I can gaurantee there won't be any success without the backing of the parents. I've been through several coaches over the years and coached some myself, if this man is going to be the coach, the best bet for the parents is to get behind his plan wether you agree with it or not. I have not always agreed with what my son's coaches have done, especialy when they are new, but in almost all cases I've been happy with the end results. If you don't think they have enough help, then go up there and give them some help. Kids listen to every thing their parents say wether we believe it or not, and negative talk by us about the coach never helps.

There is no rule against delegating work load until other arrangements can be made.

This isn't the first time HC has had morning weightlifting and it's not the first time coaches have argued over what requirements are, and are not, during their respective seasons. If HC expects to have any success they better get behind their coach and sell out now. Discourse by parents and fans will not help anything and someday looking back we might see that alot af these so called hairbrain ideas weren't so bad afterall.
