I want to say that Saint X wins this going away, but experience tends to rule at Bowling Green in the state tournament. Fact is, they only have two guys with state tourney experience. One of the downfalls of being so deep every year. They'll still win, but it will be closer than it should be. On the individual side, Connor Haas should be the favorite. He's the most talented, tends to play well in bigger tournaments, and has had a remarkable career. He's payed good at Bowling Green in the past and should do it again this year.

Looks like no surprises. St. X and West Jessamine playing together in the feature group on Friday. Should be a great tournament!

Should be. But I would def give Ashland the inside track

Even though St. X has the toughest region, they're playing so well that they should cakewalk through in Louisville. CAL and Ballard will battle for second. The Lexington region is wide open. Mad Central, Lex Cath, Dunbar, and LCA could all legitimately come out of that region. West Jessamine should win their region with Danville looking like the second best team there. St. Mary's will win out west and Corbin should win their region. In Northern KY, Cov Cath and Ryle should have a nice little battle for the win

An awesome round! No doubt St. X is the team to beat right now. They've jumped West Jess at this point. St. X and West Jess have combined to win every big tournament in KY this year, clearly the two best teams in the state. I don't see any way those teams aren't first and second in Bowling Green at the State Tournament.

Yes, the KIT is always one of the elite fields! As will be the case most of the year, St X and West Jessamine are the favorites

I agree. I've seen West Jess in Louisville twice this year and they won both times in good fields. Their top 3 players are really strong and playing well this year.

That's a strong group of teams in those final two waves. Who do you like to bring home the title?

That may be true, it appears as though Ryle and Cov Cath are fairly even. I don't see or read much about NKY golf unless they are in a Louisville/Lexington tourney. But a top 10 is irrelevant, there are probably 10 more teams that could be filled into the 5-10 spots.

Boys Top 10 1. West Jessamine 2. St. X 3. St. Mary 4. LCA 5. Lex Catholic 6. CAL 7. Corbin 8. Cov Catholic 9. Mad. Central 10. Dunbar I think on a golf course like Bowling Green over two days you can safely say that one of those top 4 teams will win the state. I don't know enough on girls golf to give you a ranking.
