  1. So a coach being let go for personal reasons or conflicts with an administration INTERESTING. Administration needs to reevaluate themselves. As an educator they are supposed to be in it for the knids. I don't think that the best interest is in it for the kids in this situation at all. The kids need stability and it sounds as long as said administration is in threre this wiwll continue, unless the new GUY kisses rears.
  2. I sounds to me the root of the problems at Bracken Ly with the admistration. Sounds as if they make their decision with very little thought. If Molly rubbing people the wrong way means that she didn't succumb to stuff that she didn;t feel necessary, in other words kissed someones --- just to kepp her job, then shame on the again the administration for having no backbone to try and work whatever problems there might have been and not just get rid of her. So I guess rubbing somone the wrong way causes you to not perform as the coach so you shouldn't be renewed. I guess I am starting to get a feel for how it works at Bracken. Just hope the next person understands what needs to be done to keep the job, apparently stick nose up certain rears
  3. Exactly, and not getting the job means that they didn't feel that you were good enough for the position. It is quite obvious that a lot of people wanted him to have it, sounds like it was a no win situation for Coach Schultz. It also sounds like if PK is not successful then a lot of people will be dissapointed as they feel he is going to come in and get the job done, since it is so necessary and important that Bracken hire him.
  4. If it was so cut and dry that he was to have the position wouldn't he have received this the first time or the other position that he applied for. nothing is cut and dry and you have to look at all of your options. To give PK credit for wins at the end of the year then he should take the credit for the losses as well. If he this great savior of coach that some on here are making him out to be then he would have found a way to get it done.
  5. Looks like some of the truths are starting to surface. Good luck to the next GUY in there, hope you get in good with the AD!!!
  6. As someone who has coached now for many years, as an assistant at the varsity level, and currently applying for a varsity position I wonder if this is truly what I want to do? work so hard and have so much passion at something to be nonrenewed without any apparent reasons for my dismassal. I just hope the next caoch is able to live up to the expectations whatever they might be, apparently Coach Schultz did not.
  7. Still have not heard a reason for why she would not be renewed if anyone could fill me on this I would like to know. Just seems awfully strange to me to not be renewed wehn on the floor and in the classroom you are doing nothing but good things. Something is not right! The worst part is is that the next guy will look like a genious, be it PK or whomever, because they are gonna win some games in the next couple of years. So those clueless people out there will think that it had to do with who the HC was. Raw deal all the way around for Coach Schultz, best of luck to her in the future.
  8. It is quite obvious that Coach Schultz never was truly given a chance to succeed. It seems to me that no matter what she did it was never going to be good enough. good luck to the next coach, HE will have a couple of great seasons, then we will see truly how well he can coach. Unreal!!!!!
  9. Who cares if she is the first or the 100th she is getting the job done. Sounds like someone has a problem with a womam being successful and having a little power.
  10. As with any successful program it is not the head coach that does everything all by themself, a great staff is a necessity. She did however get all of these things initiated and organized. Still my point remains she has done nothing but good things and absolutlely no reason not to be back. You cannot point out anything that would warrant a nonrewal. She has instilled the work ethic into these girls and that caried over into the end of the season. It is a talented young group that will continue to improve the next two years. Would be a shame if she couldn't enjoy the work that she has started and see these girls through their four years.
  11. Its amazing this is even a thread. What has she done to warrant not coming back. Besides organizing a summer program, getting the girls to camps, and working her tail off both in the gym, working with the girls and their skills and out of the gym, funraising every chance she gets. She has started to return this program to where it once was, and to not allow her to continue would be taking steps back in the wrong direction.
  12. This was a good game to watch. The 3 girls seniors, that play for Mason County are very good. They all look like they could have a bright future in the next level. I agree with you Intentional if Ward plays they might have been able to pull this one out. But the 3 girls from mason sure do know how to play . I would think they would win there region, and got to the State Tourney. That being said Maybe Ashland will get a rematch if things go well. Best of Luck to Both teams heading into March.
  13. I Don't really know much about either team in this one.Nor do i have a dog in this fight, after reading posts about both teams this should be a fairly good game. I will go with Bracken County. But this game will probably be a very close game. Sounds like both teams are evenly matched. May both teams play well.
  14. Didn't think it would be this bad, Elliot has a very nice team though. Boyd will come around they have a good group of kids that play hard.
  15. Ashland wins buy 25, Lewis has alot of excperience just don't see them hanging around long in this one.
