  1. Don't forget their K/P Jared Kaufman. I believe he received a preferred walk-on offer to WKU.
  2. I guess Maxpreps stats hold no merit for kickers from NKY unless they get to the state finals...
  3. Ryle's kicker Kaufman has also been invited to the Nike competition in Las Vegas this Jan. I do not know if he is attending. I am sure it will a great opportunity for all that do.
  4. DMZ76---Obviously, you are familiar with the prokicker.com website where all of this info is accessible. Once there, you will also see that Kaufman is ranked 2nd in the state of Ky, 18th in a 14 state region and 36th nationally (higher if KOs where flying then as they are now). He hit 100% of his FGs --only about 6 kids out of all of the camps accomplished that. In addition, he did attend other camps around the area where he hit 100% as well. For the entire pre-season and regular FB season Kaufman has gone 12/15 on FGs, the longest being 47yds. I know Drew was ranked in the state at one time; where did he end up? Kaufman, Bathiany, and Jett are all extremely respectable kickers in the NKy area and I am sure there are others that we are not aware of. Good Luck with your post season play.
  5. Sorry, but Kaufman had 3 TBs and one pop-up kick to the 9 against the Birds. In addition, he had an outstanding punting game which included a 66yd punt. I guess I don't see where his tail was being kicked. Jared could also play a number of other positions with his speed and hands, and he can hit with the best of them, but who would then kick if he got hurt? He would have more FGs if the opportunity was given him--have you ever seen him at halftime? Both did attend the Ray Guy Prokicker camp last summer. Kaufman is ranked 2nd in Ky--where is Bathiany?
  6. This game has aired 3 times now and I am quite surprised that no one has mentioned the fact that Aery stepped out of bounds on his scoring run as did Farris later on the run that resulted in a FG. The TV commentators even mentioned that Aery may have stepped out, and it is easy to see when replayed in slo-mo. Both of these (if they would have been called) could have changed the course of the game tremendously.:sssh:
  7. I would not discount Kaufman from Ryle; ranked #2 in the state according to prokicker...probably would have been ranked in the top ten nationally too if his KOs were as far then as they are now. Merrick is 3rd. Can't find Bathiany.
  8. And here I thought it was going to be the KO by Jared Kaufman at the Ryle/CC game. His KO hit up the right side of the goal post! It wasn't a game winning FG, but it was fun to watch.
  9. Ryle's kicker did not miss an XP. They went for 2 after the last TD and did not succeed thus the 23-18 score. The Kaufman 32yd FG was a huge game difference maker too. Had he not made that, NC could have attempted one on their last drive. As it was, the FG forced them to have to put the pigskin in the end zone.
