This was a complete 180 from the tight game these two teams played just eight days ago. The Tigers went into the half up 21-17, but went nuts in the second half, hitting nine threes on 14 attempts. There aren't many teams in the state that could've beaten them tonight.

 

Overall, the Tigers hit 12-of-20 threes and were 55 percent overall from the field.

 

Devonte Grundy had 21, hitting 8-of-10 attempts and 5-for-7 threes. Jordan Brewer also had a strong game, scoring 16.

 

Bethlehem had no one in double figures and shot just 33 percent overall.

 

Bardstown takes on host Green Co. on Friday, but will be the clear favorite to get to Frankfort.

Ultimately, I think Bardstown came out in the second half extremely motivated (and more than just a little angry) by the fact that Bethlehem came so close to the upset the first time, and had played it close in the first half. Bardstown found a gear in the second half I haven't seen this season. Also, Tiger PG Anthony Myrks was probably still a bit gimpy after an ankle injury the previous week, but looked full-speed last night.
