Improve their record to 9-2 heading to Richmond Indiana for the Bob Wettig Memorial Tournament after Christmas.

Manual is a very good team and #24 (Thompson) is a heck of an athlete. South Laurel was playing without their point guard Blake Sanders who suffered a concussion and a bad case of whiplash during the 3rd qtr of the Allen Co. game on Thursday. Without Sanders in the lineup, the constant pressure just wore down the cards. South went 2-2 in this tournament and actually had Lex Christian on the ropes on tuesday, leading them in the 4th qtr before some costly turnovers turned that game. The addition of Jeff Hale to the team along with playing a very difficult schedule will make this South team very tough to face come tourny time.
