Another struggle for Boone County. The Lady Rebels trailed 13-8 after the first quarter and 20-17 at the half. Sydney Moss got untracked a bit in the second half to score 16 of her 22 points to pull Boone into a nine point lead in the third. Walton-Verona cut the lead back to three on several occasions in the fourth quarter, getting a number of scores off inbound plays and hitting timely threes. Boone County freshman Macy Ford finally sealed the victory with four straight clutch free throws in the last minute.

 

The Lady Rebels are definitely a work in progress right now with Coach Fookes trying lots of different combinations and giving younger players time to gather the experience they need.
