Not sure on the exact final score, Lloyd wins by four. Entertaining game put on tonight by the two schools. The game certainly had its sloppy moments, but the teams played hard and were at each other all night. It looks to be a great match up, presumably, should these schools earn the two and three seeds for their new district.

I was very disappointed by what should have been nothing more than friendly chants between the two schools. The Lloyd fan section started a chant in which a curse word was used, and I believe this is simply unacceptable. There were small children everywhere in the tiny Ludlow gym, and I for one could not help but to feel embarrassed for them. This is not college or professional basketball, not that it is right to use such language in that context either, but under no circumstances should this happen in a high school game. Really put a damper on what was otherwise a nice night of basketball.

Congratulations to both teams on a hard fought game.
