Just an opinion of how the 13 region may shake out by seasons end. North and South Laurel will be two of the most improved teams in the13 region. Harlan County and Barbourville will fight for the 13th Regional Title.

Harlan County has to win a big game in crunch time before I'll give them the nod. North Laurel is going to be way better than people think and so will Corbin.

Harlan County was the best team in the region during the summer, but I didn't get to see Knox Central. Harlan County is still a little inconsistent though and has only one senior starting. It should be very competitive in the region. I think seven or eight teams have a decent shot.

It will be very competitive this season. I don't take much from the summer though HDE. I know that you don't either.

Actually, I do. I watch a lot of summer games. Everyone says it doesn't mean anything,but you can usually get a really good idea about the season by watching.

It looks like they have a pretty good starting five, but I don't know what they have after that. A new coach usually means some changes and a few new faces.

I agree a little bit but not all coaches put much effort into summer bball. JMO I know you watch a lot. I love what you do for High school sports in our area.
