Basketball season for 2011/2012 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Russell ? Remember, please be constructive.

Graduation didn't hurt them too bad. They'll miss the Boyd kid from behind the 3pt line. The Hunt kid leaving will be hard to overcome. Skaggs has played varsity since he was in grade school, so he'll have to carry the load.

Coach Kidwell will have playing well by season's end barring injuries. 63rd district will be weak this season and they should be the favorites.

Greenup is the favorite in that district.

Greenup has not won the ditrict since 2006 and other than 2008 they have lost in first round every year from 2007 to present. Hard for me to put someone as the favorite who has that type of record in the post season.

Last I checked, kids graduate, new kids play each year. Not sure how recent history plays a role. They have a new coach too. I'll take Greenup to win that district for 200 Alex.

If we don't have a better than .500 season and some success in the postseason, I would hope we look long and hard at the direction our program is headed.

Anyone heard if Russell is looking for new Leadership ?

Jeff Nickel is available.

Scapegoat.

Anyone heard if Russell is looking for new Leadership ?

I did hear that but honestly I have heard that for a couple of years now.

I also heard that some kids that could really help the Devils were not coming out bc of the same reason that we are hearing the other change is wanted there.

Kidwell better hope skaggs does not get hurt or in foul trouble, it will be a long season for the devils.

GC still the fav to win this district?
