Trigg County is off to their best start in four years. Caldwell's offense has gone from 80 points, to 34 points to 25 points. They will face a Trigg defense that hasn't allowed a point in the second half this year.

Heads Caldwell County. Tails Trigg County.

Too many question marks in this game. Is Trigg's defense that good or has it played some offensively challenged teams so far? Has Caldwell's offense struggled the last two weeks or has it faced better defenses? I'm not sure I can really tell at this point.

This is a big rivalry game, although not too many people outside of Caldwell and Trigg counties seem to realize that. Even though this is no longer a district game, it still means a lot to both sides.

I'd probably give Trigg a slight advantage because of the Wildcats' quickness and playing at home. But Caldwell has some playmakers as well.

Should be an interesting contest.

If Caldwell had a hard time stopping Ohio Co. run attack, I can only think that Trigg's is better. I think Trigg will win a close one.
