Northern Kentucky was well represented today at the LaRosa's Hall of Fame banquet. Three of the six female finalists were from N. KY. (Anna Carrigan, Track and Field from Campbell Co., Ellen Williamson, Swimming from Notre Dame and Lauren Tibbs, Basketball/Volleyball from Scott HS). I know the first two were not basketball players, but certainly deserve the recognition. Ellen was selected as the female athlete of the year.

Very proud of Lauren for a final reminder of her great career before she leaves for Marquette on Friday. The next leg of your journey begins then.

Coach Nell Fookes was inducted into the hall of fame and gave a wonderful acceptance speech. Well deserved recognition for a fabulous coaching career.

Talented group of young ladies.

Ellen Williamson is he epitome of what a talented female athlete is.

If Lauren is nominated with her that says a lot.

I hope she loves Milwaukee.
