Clark (22-11) won three straight games to win the 10th Region title after losing to Bourbon County in the finals of the 40th District Tournament last month.

Central Hardin (32-4) carries a six-game winning streak into the six-day event and will be making its second straight appearance in the tournament.

“They have an advantage on us, because they were there last year,” he said. “ They’ve got everybody back.

Coach quote: “Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. We were fortunate to get a favorable draw (in the region) and the top teams had to use their aces to win games before they got to us.We lost in 2002 and 2007 in the sectionals to eventual state champs, so I guess we were due some luck.”

I just think there is too much fire power at the plate and on the hill for Central Hardin.

 

Withrow will have to change speeds and locate extremely well to be an equalizer in this one. If he's on, it's likely to be a low scoring affair. Either way, I'll go with Central Hardin in this one.
