During an incredibly hot day in Falmouth, Bracken County breaks open a 2-1 game in the bottom of the 5th when freshman catcher Mallory Bell doubles in two runs. Lady Bears started rolling offensively from that point on en route to the win. Freshman pitcher Emma Conley battled out of some tight spots as the Lady Bears advance to the semi-finals, where they await the winner of Montgomery County/Nicholas County, which is taking place right now.

 

Congrats to Campbell County, who played a very nice defensive game for the most part.

Congrats to Bracken on the win. Also, a nice way to end the year for the mostly young Camels. I would think that everyone has to be pleased on how they finished their season. While the final of this one was closer than what the final score indicated still a good game.
