If I heard correctly the Colonels came back from an early 4-run deficit and won in extra innings.

They came back from 3 - 0 and 6 - 3. Scored three in 7th to tie on a passed ball and 2 out single by Schneider to tie. Campbell scored 1 in top of the 8th on HR. CCH scored two in bottom of 8th on a HB, BB, FC on a bunt. Pitcher fielded bunt and threw to third but runner beat the throw. Apparently the catcher told him to go to 1b but the CCH bench was so loud he couldn't hear the call. Lankheit, I believe it was, walked to tie game and then Schreiver hit clean single to left to win. It was pretty evident from the stands along 1b side that the CCH bench got to the pitcher. He seemed to try to throw every pitch harder than the one before and couldn't find the zone.

Good luck to both teams this week.

Congratulations to the Blue Colonels. Extremely poor base running, and a lack luster showing of defense cost the Camels this game. That being said, trying to fill in with JV players this late in the year was a good learning curve for the younger players before the district starts. The Colonels bench was rather rowdy, I don't believe the Colonels bench was the reason our closer seemed to be throwing harder each pitch. That's kinda been his M O in late game situations this year. He will be fine. Hard fought game by both teams. Good luck in the Districts to both.
