Theoldguy
The Good: Schumate and Hellman both seniors combine to shut down SK on five hits. The Bad: CovCath committed two costly errors that led to all three SK runs The UGLY: Not getting down the bunt and moving runners along. Gruber Grill Defensive Star of the game:Both in the first when CovCath SS Seattle Stein steals a base hit from a SK hitter and in the second when 1st Basemen Eric Schneider does the same thing keeping SK from getting men on. Offensive Star of the game: Today again I have to go with Matt Rolf who with Lankheit playing third after catching the first game was brought in to Pinch Hit in the bottom of the sixth inning with two men on and two outs and CovCath down a run. With a rocket for a double, Rolf knocks in two runs to tie and then win the game. Outstanding day young Mr. Rolf. PeeWee's Place Star of the game: Going with Senior Adam Shumate who improved his record to (4-0) and not only pitched well but got walked, double and drew a Intenional Walk and his CR scored two of the CovCath 4 runs today. Sportsfan 99
Who pitched for SK? Bryan Waibel pitched for the Pioneers and was throwing very well until he had to come out with an injury to his throwing arm. Later it was figured out his bicep tendon popped out of place. Theoldguy
Hey Old Guy! Question, how could all of SK's runs be earned if 2 errors led to the runs? Should have read unearned runs. Please see Shumate pitching line!

Theoldguy
Give Shumate another K as I didn't add the strikeout swinging to his total that he earned but which however the runner reached first via a PB on the catcher for a total of 8 on the day.
