9th Region Draw - Sunday morning

I posted this in the Girls Thread as well, but Tri State Internet Sports Radio will be doing our LIVE Videocast of the 9th Region Girls and Boys Draw LIVE from "The Vault" at the Bank of Kentucky Center in the morning.

 

We will start about 8:45 with the draw LIVE at 9:00am. Just go to the front page of TriStateInternetSportsRadio.com and the Video Player is on the right side.

 

With the exception of the NCC/Highlands draw, thoughts on matchups??

'Neerfan' commented in the 12th Region thread that the process used to pick matchups is as follows: "The top four district winners pick in alphabetical order to set the brackets. Then the four district losers pick. District champ and runner-ups must be on opposite ends of the bracket".

 

Is this how it's done in all 16 Regions? ... Just Wonderin'? ... and not that it would matter much, but does he mean alphabetical order by school name, and if so is it 'Covington Holmes' or just 'Holmes'? If it's 'Cov.Holmes' then they'd pick before Dixie, but if it's just 'Holmes' they'd pick after them, and if Highlands were to happen to win against NewCath then is it 'Ft. Thomas Highlands' or just 'Highlands' because 'Highlands' would come after Cov. Holmes but before just 'Holmes'?

 

O.k. that all sounds a bit nutty, but...

 

Is there a uniform process by which all 16 Regions pick their tourney and if so what is it? ... If not, what process does the 9th use?
