Bardstown 67 Elizabethtown 65

Featured Replies

E'town was killing the Tigers at halftime -- 31-6 run at one point -- and led by 21 at the high mark, but Bardstown managed to rally back with great defense and Jordan Brewer and Anthony Myrks, who combined for 37.

I wouldn't rule out these two seeing each other again.

This game was a good example of how wide-open the 5th Region is. John Hardin has the best record overall, but Bardstown has the best in-region record, it's only loss to JH by a deuce in the second week of the season.

The Bulldogs have been good in close games -- seven Ws by four points or less -- and their only region loss is to E'town, who's played the best overall schedule. North's rounding into form after a rough early start, and Campbellsville has the best 1-2 combo in Davis and Percell.

Any number of wild cards could emerge and knock out one of the aforementioned teams, too. Should be a wild region.
