Bishop Brossart High School today announced the hiring of Brad Gough, 27, as their new Girls Head Soccer Coach. He replaces Terry Bray who resigned this fall after guiding the Lady ‘Stangs for one season and reaching the Regional Tournament.

“I am incredibly honored to be the next head coach of the Bishop Brossart girls soccer program. I am excited for the opportunity to work with the kind of quality and talented individuals that this program continually creates and produces,” exclaimed Gough.

Gough, a Cincinnati resident, was Assistant Women’s Coach at Cincinnati Christian University where he assisted Head Coach Keith Combs team last year. He helped guide them to the highest conference finish in school history, assisting in all aspects of the program.

Gough was an outstanding high school soccer player at St. Henry High School and was a starting member of the 2000 Kentucky High School State Runnerup Team.

In 2001 he started for the Kentucky High School All “A” Cup State Champion team. He played one year of club soccer at Eastern Kentucky University.

Sounds like a quality hire.

BB has some very good players and now a quality coach! Looks like things are looking up!
