North loses several great linemen in Tomlinson, Lister and Elmore plus a 1800 yd RB in Reynolds. However, they return a gifted trio of RB's in Todd Asbury, Ryan Collins, and Travis Downing. Asbury had 4 100+ yd games early this year before injuries limited him. Collins replaced Reynolds and rushed for 150 yds in the playoff loss to Western with most of it coming in the 2nd half. Downing has shown a tough running style in mop up duty this year and could be a beast this coming year at fullback. North has a number of good sized younger lineman that just need about 6 months of hard work in the weight room. With the RB's menttioned above, North is likely to keep the ball on the ground and junior-to-be QB Patrick Egnor has displayed good athleticism and running ability at the JV level and has played a little varsity as well. Sophomore-to-be Josh Exton is another player to keep an eye on. Exton started most of the year at corner back and will be a solid player for the next 3 years.
