Parents File Suit Over Haircut Rule

Back in the day, any wrestler on our HS team that wasn't first-string (varsity) could be challenged for the varsity spot by someone not on the varsity and qualifying for the same weight class. "Challenge days" were once a week. Sometimes you had "wrestler B" challenging "wrestler A" several weeks in a row.

Made for an interesting and competitive atmosphere.:thumb:

Agreed, I loved wrestle off days. I only participated in one of them and it was by choice to prove a point to the wrestler in the class above me. And like your team there were some classes where the two wrestlers wrestled off each week.

My junior year was especially fun. From 125-160 there was a super competitive wrestle off at every weight class weekly.
