Good win for Spencer County

While doing the play-by-play broadcast of the game, I keep an unofficial running score tally.

In doing so, I recorded 15 lead changes in the first half - Ask and Answer basketball!!!

The Bears drew off to an early second half 7 point lead. Brossart battled back to take a 40-37 lead, but could not build on, nor make that lead stand up.

Brossart was dismal today from 3-Point range, connecting on only 3 of 26 attempts (again unofficially).

The Mustangs had two chances to win the game when two Bears missed critical one-bonus opportunites in the waning seconds of the contest. We failed to cash those chances in and Spencer County survived the Mustangs.

Brossart will take Wednesday off and return on Thursday at 1pm to take on the winner of the Whitman/Grant County game.
