What will the future hold for Boyd County? Will Coach Evens be back next season? Will Boyd County be able to get their numbers back up? Will Boyd be able to compete in 2011?

 

After an 1-9 season in 2010, and an 2-8 season in 2009 will Evan be able to keep his job? Personally, I don't think Evans is to blame and is a quality coach, but sometimes a coach gets the blame.

 

Boyd's numbers have been low, will they be able to get players out to play? Over the years in JFL and Junior High I have not seen great numbers for Boyd County. To get their numbers up, they will have to get some new players to play football.

 

What needs to happen to get Boyd County back on track and competing with other area teams?

Well said, I think Coach Evens is one of the better coaches in the area. Big school with a small roster is always going to be bad. Not for sure what the problem is at Boyd but the basketball program has dropped way off also. Maybe the new high school being constructed can create some buzz in athletics at Boyd?
