The QB for Newport Brown threw for over 300 yards and 5 Touchdowns, and also ran for over a 100 and a Touchdown. His main target on the night in the passing game was Rodney Orr who had 294 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns. That is the 8th highest total receiving yards in state history.

for a career-high 294 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Newport senior quarterback Demetri Brown completed 10 of 16 passes for 307 yards and five TDs.

 

Brown also had 17 carries for 123 yards and another score as Newport won its second straight game.
