Lexington / Central Kentucky Regional Contest Results (Week #5)

Here are the results for this week's Lexington / Central Kentucky Regional contest. As always, the results won't be final for 24 hours. All contestants should use that time to check their score for errors. After that time period has passed, the contest is final and the winner should use the following link to claim the prize of choice. If you think your score is incorrect, please send me a PM and I will look into your claim.

The entries took a beating this week as the voters picked established five definitive favorites - in each of the five contests, entrants established one team as the favorite by at least 70% - 30%. Unfortunately, not one but two of those overwhelming favorites (GRC and Frankfort), both lost, throwing this week's scores into the dump heap. (to add further emphasis that these are HS football games being predicted, two other underdogs threw significant scares into the favorites, as Henry Clay fell to SK by just 3 points and Scott High fell to Harrison County by just 6)

The game scores:

Lafayette 21, George Rogers Clark 9

Simon Kenton 21, Henry Clay 18

Franklin County 20, Frankfort 12

Russell County 56, Wayne County 27

Harrison County 28, Scott High 22

There were NO perfect scores and NO ties this week... this week's winner: (drum roll)
