Scott 2010/2011

What does Scott need to do to improve in 2010/2011? What do they need to keep doing to be sucessful? Remember, please be constructive.

I think that Scott can be competitive again this year. Of course, they have Lauren Tibbs in the middle, plus Taylor Stinson, Taylor Jackson, and Sam Kraft. The question for me is who will be the guards. IMO, that is their weakest position. I look for freshman Jill Buntin to be in the mix as well. I am not familiar with the incoming sophomore class or freshman class other than Jill. If they can get strong guard play, I see no reason why their record can't be as good as it was last year. I wish nothing but the best for the Lady Eagles, and look forward to attending some of their games again this year.

They have to develop a point guard. They have 5 of their first six players back from last year. The point guard position is a key. They have a sophomore who has potential and has done ok this summer so far, but it will take some time. They also have a freshman who is developing into a more consistent shooter, but once again it is going to take some time. Stinson and Tibbs inside are a great 4-5 combination that will be hard for most teams to deal with. They need some other players to step up and become more consistent scorers so it does not always have to fall on Tibbs' shoulders.
