U18 Bluegrass Chiefs 2 - U18 Kentucky Colonels 0

Good game played by the two NKY teams at St. Henry. Nathan Snyder went 6 1/3 inns - baffling the Colonels with his curveball and change of speeds. Zack Larimore came in relief and got the save. Larimore threw smoke and will be interesting to see next year in his senior year.

Back from Region tournament play, Adam Warning and Tyler Sexton had big games for the Chiefs. Warning had a couple hits and three very nice plays out in left field. Tyler Sexton also had a couple key hits - an RBI single in first inning and a HR to left field in the 6th.

Brett Stansberry pitched the first 4 inns for the Colonels. He pitched very well and kept the Chiefs off balance with his change of speeds. Nick Knoebel came in for the Colonels to pitch the last 3 inns - doing a good job while giving up only 1 run.
