Cooper just had one of those nights. Thompson leads off and reaches on an error, Bjurquist singles to left and then Ty Ramey hits a 3 run homer over the 360 sign in left. Cooper gets a couple more on and Collins bunts them over so 2nd and 3rd and one out. Blank is at bat and you can see Bieger signaling to hit it to the right side. Blank hits a hard grounder to 2nd where the fielder is playing deep, and the runner at 3rd doesn't go home..... I know the coaches spent a lot of time after tryouts working on base running but it seems every game there are several base running mistakes. Cooper hit 2 line drives hard that infielders for SK turned into double plays to stall rally's but in those instances there was nothing the runners could do.

SK ties it up in their half of the first. Thompson pitched for Cooper and was hit fairly hard and only lasted 2 2/3 innings. SK plays add on the rest of the game with the help of a couple of errors. In the 7th Cooper scores 2 more, one on an RBI double by Ramey. Ramey goes 2-4 with a HR, 2B and 4 RBI. Nice game by the Senior.
