This is surprising to me. Especially since this Madison Southern team lost to East Jessamine.

Madison Southern is one of those teams that could pull off a big win or two in the regional.

Madison Southern lost to East Jessamine because they had 2 extra players, as usual. Southern certainely did not play a good game, but if you look at EJ's record, 8 of their 9 wins are at home. Now we know why.

 

Both teams played one heck of a game tonight! This game most definitely deserved to be the game of the week! Crazy atmosphere and a lot of heart from both teams! Hats off to Coach Buttry and his staff for switching to a pressure 2-3 at the end! Gutsy call and worked like a charm. Congrats to Southern on a huge win!

Great game with 2 pretty good teams. Congrats to the Eagles. I would love to see them at Rupp in March.
