Sydney Moss had 30 points and 10 rebounds (unofficial) for Boone in less than 1/2 of game action. She had 13 in the 1st period including a last second three, sat out a good bit of the 2nd, then scored 13 straight points in about 3 minutes, punctuated with another three, to start the 3rd and exited the game for good.

 

Moss was simply too strong for Warren Central and was the beneficiary of some nice feeds from teammates as both Heather Sandlin and Joscelyn Davis found her inside with good position to score.

 

The lopsided win gave Boone coach Nell Fookes the opportunity to give some promising young players some significant minutes.

Sophomore forward Sydney Moss piled up a career-high 30 points as Boone County drilled Warren Central, 66-35 at the Northern Exposure Classic at Notre Dame on Sunday.

 

Moss also grabbed 12 rebounds for the Rebels, who have won five straight and improved to 2-0 in the tournament.

 

Junior guard Stacie Shrout added 19 points for Boone County, and senior forward Joscelyn Davis chipped in with nine rebounds and six assists.
