Jim Schue Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Eagles have a mistake-filled first half, but go almost exclusively to the run in the second as the rains picked up. The Bethlehem line dominated the LOS in keying the district win, and likely securing a home playoff game in the process. Another big week for Casey Robinson.
Jim Schue Posted October 10, 2009 Author Posted October 10, 2009 Robinson had TD runs of 3, 67, 27 and 10 yards. The Eagles scored on the first play from scrimmage on a 65-yard strike from Clay Owens to Lance Reed.
tomcat84 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Great job by Robinson. He has became a great leader for the team. Doesn't get many carries but sure does well with what he gets. He is now scoring about every 4th time he touches the ball.
Jim Schue Posted October 10, 2009 Author Posted October 10, 2009 Bethlehem had another great night defending the run, holding KCD to minus-44 yards on the ground. KCD QBs only completed 14 of 35 attempts for 151 yards. Bethlehem rolled up 333 yards on the ground on 54 carries, and added another 132 through the air. Robinson had 16 carries for 151 yards, and Owens had 27 rushes for 120.
