The DS Team has won two games in the Double-Pump Best Of Summer Tournament being held this week in Los Angeles. They played the Coast All Stars in the first game and won by 22. In the second game they won easily and played The Valley Stars Pump and Run. They play again tonight at 8:15 Pacific time. They play BTI(Stover).

Coach Davis has his team playing at a very high level right now. Congrats to Coach Davis and his team. Way to represent the state of Kentucky!!

DS 16 and under won again last night beating BTI. They play again today at noon(Pacific Time).

The Derek Smith 16s are 3-0 and won their pool in the Double Pump Best of the Summer tournament in Los Angeles. The Derek Smith team is 44-6 this summer.

Team Kentucky had a hard pool and had some very good and close games. They won their game this morning and they play again tonight at 7 PM LA time. In this mornings game Team KY was again led by the strong post play of Bryce With of Dunbar, and out top by Will Skaggs of Blazer and Zack Perkins of Ryle.

 

In the first game of the Best of Summer Codi Roberts from Clay Co had 8 three-pointers to finish with a game high 27 points.

DS 16 and under won today. Don't know if they play again today or not. They've been away a long time and I think they're kinda anxious to get home.

The Derek Smith All-Stars 16s team finished the summer 45-6 after winning an elite eight game in the Double Pump Best of the Summer event in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

 

Coach Jeff Davis said the Derek Smith bunch is alive in the semifinals but will not play tomorrow because of travel arrangements. The team went 12-1 on the West Coast.

As good as this team is I would think that they would have planned on being in the championship game. Why would they not have arrangements to return after the tourney is completed?
