Final from the 37th District Championship.

Murray throws a complete game shutout and was also named Tourney MVP. OF/P Nick Hiller, INF/P Sowder, INF/P Murray made the all-tournament team for the Eagles.

This is also Coach Roberts first district title after being at Scott for some time now. Whats more impressive is the team that won it as he has had several, and in my opinion more talented, teams that were in a great position to win it in the past. Great game by the Eagles. Both the aces for Scott in Sowder and Murray gave up 0 runs in the 13 combined innings they pitched. Pitching seems to be coming around for the Eagles. The only thing I'd be concerned about if I'm an Eagle fan is getting the bats going a bit but thats for another day to think about. Congrats Eagles on the 37th District Championship!:ylsuper::dancingpa

Probably right has had more talented teams than this one in the past. Congratulations boys on winning the district didn't think it would happen especially after the performance against Calvary on Monday. Offense definately needs to pick up in the Regional Tourney which I hear will be at Scott this year which will be great. Good luck boys bring home a Regional Championship now !!!!!!
