Just got back from the game. Middlesboro got out to a 4-0 start in the first but SL scored 6 in the top of the 2nd. The Cards chased Pittman off the mound early and Middlesboro brought in the Ferguson kid who struggled for most of the rest of the game. SL pitched staff for this game.

 

Middlesboro made 9 errors. Yes you read that correctly. I will say this for them, they probably played as bad as they could possibly play and they still hung in there. They hit the ball pretty well and played average on spurts but for the most part, they were pretty bad tonight.

 

I'm not looking past them though. Who knows what the score may have been had they not made as many errors seeing as though they hit our pitchers just as well.

 

Good game for both and SL continues its winning ways.

Pittman re aggravated his quad muscle. Why do you think the coach called time out? He slipped as he was making a delivery on his landing foot. If you think that's the best of him, You got another thing coming!

I never said that it was his best. Obviously he wasn't. Injury or not, if he doesn't tell the coach that he's hurting and stays in and walks 4 people in one inning, then it is his fault.
