On the strength of a 7 run 3rd inning, the Holy Cross Indians defeated Bethlehem in the quarterfinal round of the All "A" Classic Baseball tournament at Applebees Park in Lexington bhy a 9-3 final. Steve Rickles homered driving in two ahead of him as 10 men went to the plate in the third inning. Holy Cross added two more runs on a Andy Roenker home run in the 4th inning. Bethlehem would plate their three runs in the bottom of the 6th inning.

 

Holy Cross only allowed 4 hits from Bethlehem in the game.
