Thanks much all! :thumb: I felt pretty confident that the NFHS ruling would have to be the same as OBR, but not so confident so as to incur my brother's wrath if he lost the forfeit and expected me to reimburse him the $50. :madman:

 

This, IMO, is a very good ruling to keep in the back of your mind (that a play on a retreating runner is a timing play and not a force play) for coaches (and umps) because while it is somewhat unusual, not certain is not one of those once-in-a-lifetime types of plays.
