Saturday morning at Ryle's field. Very nice pitching performance by Hempel for Ryle, who goes the distance. Hubbard for Conner also pitched very well. Excellent defense by both clubs - no errors in the game. 1-1 score is the 6th was broken up on a 2-run double by Takeda and he later scores on SF by Carney. Conner had man on 1B and tying run at plate in bottom of 7th when 1B runner got throw out stealing. Have to kind of question that move a little - that run really doesn't mean anything and with your #6 hitter at the plate, tough to take the bat out of his hands. :idunno:
