Despite the predictions of many on this forum, Harlan County has struggled mightily thus far this season. Their only win comes against a very weak Konx Central team and it was by a one run margin at that. I was wondering if those of you who have the chance to watch HC play can tell me why they might be struggling like this and if the morale of the team is as low as an outsider might imagine?

From what I've heard they have played a very tough schedule *including playing a State Chapion to one run and a state contender to 2* I'm not sure of the truth of this statement this is only what I've heard. They haven't played well but I believe they will turn it around they have to many athletes not to..

It comes today I think. I see on the KHSAA website that they are slated to play at Middlesboro tonight. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.
