The boys from Owen County are really starting to hit the ball well heading into the All A. Denny O'Toole and Collin Gamble both hit homeruns last night for the Rebels. Matt Harris, Zach McDonald, and Royce Neeley are really hitting the ball hard right now. Freshmen Stone Osborne is maturing quickly at the plate and senior Jordan Cox may have the best eye on the team. He consistently draws walks and gets on base. Cox also bounced back from a rough first game of the season against Harrison County and pitched a great game yesterday. He seemed to have alot more pop on his fastball and hit his spots well. Brody Layton came back from a hamstring injury and pitched a solid inning, with Gamble coming in to close out the game.

Good win for the Rebels. Looks like Fairdale is in for a long season.
