What does Conner need to do to improve in 2009? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

IMO,one of Conner's biggest challenges this year will be to replace their offensive line. Losing Scooter will also be a HUGE role to fill. A few soph's and Jr's are going to really have to step up and play well in these positions. Also, losing Englemon on special teams will be hard to replace. It does not seem to me that Conner will have anyone with that type of speed. Obviously the spread offensive does work well for Conner but they still need to have that deep threat receiver for quick long scores. If they are unable to find that type of receiver, then they will be forced to try to run the ball more effectively.

 

Defensively, losing Geiman, will be big shoes to fill at linebacker. The secondary must get better in shutting down the big play especially on 3rd down. The overall tackling skills need to be improved.

 

Conner should still be a very competitive football team when in comes to District play!
