North Hardin @ Bardstown (2/20)

Last big tune-up for two of the top contenders in the 5th Region. Last year, North whacked B'town by 11 at home in the regular-season finale. Bardstown rebounded from that game by winning the 19th District and region, while North Hardin was upset in the 17th District by a late-peaking E'town club.

 

Bardstown is coming off a tough OT loss at Adair County and a 10-point home loss to Grayson Co., while NH has won 16 of its last 18.

 

Two very athletic teams that like to press and get up and down the court. NH is a bit longer, while Bardstown is the more disciplined squad.

Really tuff game to pick, I went with North Hardin, because they seem to be playing better ball. I think they are pretty evenly matched. I'd love to see this game, if I was closer and it wasn't senior night at Adair Co.

This should be a good game between these 2 5th region powers. I took North because they are plying pretty good basketball right now. But for them to win they must send 5 guys to the offenseive and defenseive boards.
