Fort Campbell is young….very young. I believe they are returning only 2 seniors and 2 or 3 juniors. Their second year head coach, Ken Caver, actually scheduled 20+ games for the first time in several years and he is the only coach to return for a second year in the past 5 years. Hopefully they can gain some much need experience and build on the decent play they showed at the end of the 2008 season. However, the favorites in District 8 will be Christian County and Hopkinsville. Fort Campbell hasn’t beaten a district opponent since 2002, but they played Hopkinsville close in their final game of 2008 and return many of those players.
