It was nice to see Jeramie Connor snap out of his slump and have a couple of very nice games at the Lexington Catholic tournament. This fine young man has had a rough time lately. His mother has been ill for quite some time and just underwent a risky surgery last week. His mind has also been occupied with working toward a possible college choice at Navy. With his mind being preoccupied with these major things, his life has been upside down and his game has suffered. His mothers surgery went very well and she has been moved into a regular room after spending 6 days in ICU, her weight and overall health are starting to improve. After hearing that his mom's surgery went well, Jeramie went out and had back to back games of 30 and 19 points and made the all-tourney team. So, lets all pray for the continued improvement for his mother and now that he can relax, maybe he can play the way he is capable and show that he is one of the top shooters, not to mention probably the top returning baseball pitcher in the area.
