Henry Clay bounces back nicely after the Shelby Valley loss last night.

 

Prince Stewart had about 20 points.

 

Marquel Johnson, TJ Barnes, and Brandon Wilder all had double digits for Henry Clay.

Interesting to watch this team early in the season. I think they are now 2-2, having beat a good Christian County team. Had Bryan Station beat. Lost big at Shelby Valley from what I saw in the paper. And now to come back with a big win over Pike Central.

 

Henry Clay has a tremendous Sophomore class. The one game I saw (Bryan Station), they were a lot of fun to watch. (Keesling and Wilder are the 2 sophs to watch) Full court, spread the floor, no real post player. Relatively small, but quick. They made some mistakes down the stretch, which cost them the game against BS. But if they keep playing well together, HC could be a surprise come tournament time. Next year, they will be back at the top of the 11th region I think. Of course they are in a killer district and region.
