Nelson Co. 58 Bethlehem 50

The Cardinals improve to 2-1 under Artie Braden, and are 1-0 in district play.

This game was a real slobberknocker (with all apologies to Keith Jackson). It featured 50 fouls between the two teams. The Cardinals prevailed by hitting 21-of-30 from the stripe to the Eagles' 10-of-24. Nelson hit 7-of-8 FTs in the final 1:33 to close it out.

Bethlehem drops to 0-3 on the season and 0-1 in 19th District games.

Has Bethlehem had a tough schedule?

Has Bethlehem had a tough schedule?

Their other losses came to Hart Co. and LaRue Co. LaRue Co. isn't bad, but I don't think they're a threat to win the region or anything. The Hart Co. loss is puzzling.
