Bethlehem 2008/2009

What does Bethlehem need to do to improve in 2008/2009? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

A second year under young coach Mike Ayersman should be a pretty good one for Bethlehem. They lose an impact player in Blake Stanley, but return a group of about 10 seniors who work very well together (pretty much the same kids who play on the Eagles' top-20 soccer team make up the hoops team).

They'll have to play very good defense and do a lot of helping inside, as Will Samuels is the only height on the team. Logan Mudd is a good outside shooter, Jacob Allgeier is good at getting to the hole off the drive, and Patrick Medley is a solid PG.

They'll likely be battling with Washington Co. for the district's other spot in the 5th Region tourney (behind Bardstown), and are capable of pulling an upset here and there.

Probably their biggest key is rebounding, especially on the defensive glass.
