I am aware of Spring Training in Cocoa Beach and have been to Orlando a couple of times. Anybody know of any good sites closer to the panhandle area.

Not in Florida but the Cal Ripken place in Myrtle Beach SC is AWESOME. Two spectacular fields that are both field turf, tons of batting tunnels, practice IF's, and great location for things to do.

I can tell you more if you want.

Spring training sites: I go to Spring training every year....

Lakeland---Detroit Tigers

Winter Haven---Cleveland Indians

Tampa---New York Yankees

St.Petersburgh---Tampa Bay Rays.....I believe they are switching to Port Charlotte

Duneden---Toronto Blue Jays

Sarasota----Last year of Cincinnati Reds

Ft. Myers----Boston Red Son and Minnesota Twins

Orlando---Atlanta Braves

Vierra----Washington Nationals

Port St.Lucie---New York Mets

Jupiter----St.Louis Cardinals and Florida Marlins

Ft. Lauderdale----Baltimore Orioles

Spring Training is an AWESOME TIME.......it's addictive.

Ft. Walton has the Beach Bash. It's not a training facility, but provides plenty of games to get you ready for the season.
